Both skoraj and domala are given in the dictionary as translations for "almost, nearly". Is one of these words more strong than the other, or are there any other semantic differences between the two?

"domala" is not used so much in everyday speech, it is more used in books, I guess it is getting a bit archaic (the usage in Gigafida corpus is 400.000 to 15.000).
