Slovene: vključek (dva majhna vključka zraka)

From a doctor's report of a patient with a hip injury:

V kolčnem sklepu sta dva majhna vključka zraka – po puknciji?

SSKJ's definition of vkjluček reads:

vkljúček -čka m (ȗ) [...] delec, košček snovi, ki ga rudnina zajame pri nastajanju [...] nekovinski delec v kovinski osnovi

I don't quite see how the quoted use of vključek matches the definition above.

How would you explain/define what a "vključek" is in the above sentence?

    I don't know about medicine, but just going by etymology, vključiti = "to include" and hence vključek = "an inclusion". I guess there are two small air pockets in the hip joint as a result of some earlier operation.

    Update: if you search for "vključek" on fran.si, you find other definitions besides the SSKJ one, including this one from the botanical dictionary:

    vkljúček -čka m
    fiziol. pri delovanju celice nastale tekoče ali trdne snovi, ki se ne vključujejo v presnovne procese, npr. kristali kalcijevega oksalata
    ang.: cell inclusion n

    This is still not exactly what you need in your context, but it's closer and confirms that "inclusion" might be the right way to think about it.
