How do we say in slovene "to do something", or "in order to do something"? I am afraid in English does not exist the same construction I am asking for which comes from Serbian so I will use it from there, hoping for a reply from a native Slovene with Serbian/Croatian knowledge
Treba mi prašak za veš, kako bi oprao veš.

Treba mi prašak za veš, kako bi oprao veš.

The clause opening is da bi, so the translation of the second part is da bi opral perilo. The construction name is namerni odvisnik. Word da is conjunctive and bi is verb biti in conditional.
