Slovenian: searching for locations

Hi guys! I have a question, are Slovene and Slovenian the same thing or are they different?

Also, would anybody be able help me with translating a short video news report in Slovenian? I'm not really a speaker so I have trouble understanding when it is spoken.

Very short outline: the filmmakers were searching for locations all over Europe, they liked river Soča (especially the color of water) very much so they intend to shoot part of the movie there (probably next year in May or June), the mayor is very pleased with this, because this will be good for promotion of turism there.

That's it. He only forgot to mention that the film crew expenditure will be a fairly big contribution to the local community treasury.
