Situation:

I gave my students a difficult job of data entry. Initially, they had tough time and got stuck twice. But, I have sorted out those problems. After that, they should be doing well the job. I want to ask them how it is now to do the given job after sorting out.

Query:

Is this question correct?

'Are you having a smooth run with the job"?

    Hi Dr. A,

'Are things running smoothly (now) with the job?" would be a more natural expression...

I want to ask them how the job is going now that we have sorted it out.

"Are things going / running smoothly now?"
