what's the correct collocation? snap or abrupt judgement?
harbour or forster a grudge against sb?

    Snap judgement. Such a nice expression.

    We can both harbour/harbor or foster a grudge.
    If we harbor a grudge, then we cling to it, almost protectively- a bit like a harbor protects boats. More neutrally, you can say that you bear a grudge.

    If we foster a grudge, then we nurse it or develop it.
