my attempt
J'ai une démonstration, et un contre-exemple, ainsi l'un d'entre eux doit être vrai
I worry about "so one must be right", the context is mathematical, so "right" here means "true" or "correct".

    On the whole, it looks good to me. I personally hesitate between "ainsi" and "alors", and rather than "vrai", "juste" or "correct" might be better. But hopefully you'll get a comment from a native speaker.
