Dear friends,
I am doing a translation, and I have found this expression: "By general consensus accountability ideally involves both answerability and enforceability. In fact, much of what we call accountability reflects only the weaker category, answerability. While citizen-led o public initiatives often involve "soft" peer or reputational pressure, they rarely involve strong enforceability."
I can't figure out the meaning of "soft peer pressure" in this context. Any help?
