How can I say "prendere i soldi dell'assicurazione"?
To obtain money from insurance?

I mean that I do something voluntarily to obtain money. For ex. I set fire to my house and having a fire insurance, if they don't catch me, I obtain money.

Thanks!

Thanks Hockey13 but I don't understand your second sentence very well...

"If you are talking about simply the getting the money part, then you can say get, obtain, receive, etc." What do you mean exactly?

    Is this sentence right?
"They planned to set fire to the shop to obtain money from insurance"

    Thanks

Yes, it makes perfect sense, but it doesn't capture the best way to say it in English:

They planned to set fire to the shop in order to defraud the insurance company.

They planned to set fire to the shop to collect on the insurance.

Everybody understands that insurance fraud is a process of stealing money, so it doesn't necessarily need to be said.
