I'm working on a translation for a friend who works at a nuclear power plant -between her engineering and my French, we're not doing badly, but there's one I'm not getting:
"Definition de la source repartie sur le fond de la cuve"

any ideas?

Maybe "Definition of the source split up on the bottom of the tank" ?

BTW: the accent on "répartie" is important here. It is the past participle of "répartir" (to split up). Otherwise, "repartie" is the past participle of the verb "repartir" which means "to leave again".

c'est pour ça que j'avais si mal à traduire cette phrase - telle qu'on me l'a donnée, il n'y avait pas d'accent.

    merci, Olivier!
