Hi.

I'm subtitling a documentary about black influence on fashion.
In South Africa there's a group of young people who call themselves Izikhothanes.
They wear expensive clothes and buy luxury goods to flaunt their wealth. It's their way of protesting against the Establishment and societal constraints.

A guy says in English:

We talk about expensive clothes, we talk about Italian clothes, we talk about « Ganafu », we talk about sunshine of South Africa, you see? The beauty, the beauty…if you can see
We transcend it all. In our knowledge, we say Mokamba Afric!

I know that "ganafu" and "mokamba Afric" is a South-African language - but which?
What does it mean? And is the spelling correct?

Best regards
