Lo “specifico filmico” è quella cosa per cui riconosciamo che stiamo guardando un film invece che leggendo un libro o ascoltando Mozart. Lo “specifico filmico” è quella cosa sulla quale un vero critico (o teorico cinematografico, o analista cinematografico) si appoggia per costruire la sua relazione, la sua recensione, la critica. Lo “specifico filmico” è l’immagine in movimento, la sua estetica.

I agree with baldpate. In this context it means "the essence of cinema (as opposed to other media)".
