Hello, my friends,

I want to catch up with other class since I teach unit 7 while other teacher already teach unit 8.

"I will speed up the schedule."

I would say "I am slipping behind my schedule, I need to speed up a little bit."

Or on a very informal occasion, you can say "I need to go a little bit faster."

Or "I need to stick to my schedule."

Or "I need to draw up a tighter schedule or I am bound to lag behind even more."

Lets wait for a native speaker though my dear.
