I've just read the sentence : "If you don't feel like spending time in the kitchen, feel free to splurge on a good meal at your favorite restaurant."

What is the exact meaning of that expression here??
Does anybody know??

Splurge on - in that sentence, means "spend a lot of money on".
It suggests unnecessary extravagance - but in a very light-hearted way.

Yes 'splurge on' is a cost-conscious (capitalistic?) equivalent to 'indulge in.'
