Tina is waiting for a boy she likes very much. She is getting everything ready.
(
for him ??? possible??)

She picks up the Cds from the floor.
She takes some empty glasses to the kitchen.
She cuts out little hearts from a sheet of paper and puts them on her table.
etc.

Or do I have to write all the sentences in the present progressive?

Please correct other mistakes as well.

What you have is fine. The progressive indicates a span of time, so your first two sentences will be taken as setting the scene for the rest.
