Hello everyone!
I've got a stupid sentence or I'd rather say an expression:

"According to the weather forecasts, there is a little prospect of a steady rainfall in the foreseeable future."

I have a problem with steady rainfall - Is it a situation in which it rains a little BUT every day or at regular ( or less regular) intervals?

A steady rainfall occurs when it rains without stopping. A steady rainfall could last for 10 minutes, 12 hours, or three days. If the rain stops and then starts again this is not a steady rainfall - though the rainfall that fell before it stopped could have been steady.
