A second element in facilitating critical thinking is the stepping-back process. The curriculum uses 13 stories taht are acted out.

Is it a term? What does it mean?

Thanks.

  • I'm not familiar with this, and I don't think it's something people use all the time. It probably explains what it is, whereever it came from.

It means to stand back from the problem in order to evaluate/assess it better. By using the stories for role-playing, the participants can be shown how to develop their critical responses to events/situations.
