stick your head in the sand

    How would you say "to stick your head in the sand" in French? As in an ostrich would do?! Basically, wanting to ignore all your problems.

    I think you can also say 'pratiquer le principe d'autruche' , kind of 'make like an ostrich' but we'll see what the natives say!!

    I've heard pratiquer la politique de l'autruche, but perhaps it was a maladaptation.
