hi,

I want this letter typed.

Does the above sentence mean to type the letter myself or I want the letter to be typed by somebody else.

Could anybody answer the above ?

Regards,
Sri.

It mean "I want the letter to be typed." It does not say who will type it - it could be someone else, or it could be you.

A: "Shall I post this letter?"
B: "No. I want this letter typed. I will do it later." / B: "No. I want this letter typed. My secretary will do it later."
