sucesiones indivisas

Hello,
I am trying to fill out some tax forms and came across the phrase "sucesiones indivisas" or "sucesion indivisa" and have no idea what that would mean. I understand "sucesión" but don´t know "indivisas". Does anyone have any ideas? If anyone is familiar with the Argentine AFIP forms, it appears on Formulario 183/F.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not a lawyer but I know the phrase. For example, if my brother and I inherit a house and I want to sell it but he doesn't agree, then I can sell my part as "sucesión indivisa" to other person. I hope it helps you.

"Las sucesiones indivisas se entenderán para los fines del impuesto a la renta, como una persona natural, hasta el momento en que se dicte la declaratoria de herederos o se inscriba en los Registros Públicos el testamento".

Después la muerte de alguien y mientras dura el juicio sucesorio los bienes del muerto son de una persona juridica denominada sucesión indivisa o simplemente sucesión (indivisa porque es el juicio sucesorio quien divide la sucesión entre los herederos).

Hello,

As Oscar says, following the death of an individual with no heir, or until the successor is determined for the estate distribution, the deceased's patrimony is sometimes considered as an artificial person to act in trade in some circumstances, i.e., to pay taxes. This 'undivided state' is what the form you are filling call "Sucesión indivisa". So the 183/F form must be used when the payer is a natural person or a recently deceased natural person (until it is determined who the heirs are).


Albert57: Si has heredado una casa, ya no es una sucesión indivisa sino una propiedad común mediante una cuota indivisa.
