    ¿Cómo dirías que un partido sustituye a otro en el gobierno después de haber ganado las elecciones?

    ¿Valdría por ejemplo... The PP replaced the PSOE in office

    Looks good to me. I think it sounds better if it is referring to a specific person/ candidate. "The Democratic candidate replaced the Republican after the election."

    Sounds good. Only change would be "After the elections the PP replaced the PSOE as the ruling party"
