Swedish: Omvänt bokning / återbokning

Hi,

does anybody happen to know what "omvänd bokning" might mean in the following sentence (invoicing system manual):
"Följande ruta kommer då fram, där man anger i vilken period som den (interim voucher?) ska återbokas, normalt bör det bara vara att klicka OK. Detta kommer då att skapa upp en omvänd bokning i vald period, under Voucher Type: R."

Also, I can't find any equivalent for "återbokning" (Interim Voucher) and "boka upp" in the following sentence in the same manual:
"En återbokningsverifikation består av 2 delar kan man säga, dels den verifkationen som bokar upp och sedan återbokningen i månaden efter. ?"

My guess is that this is supposed to be a translation of ‘reverse entry’ (also, ‘reversing entry’, ‘reversal (of entry)’, ‘cancellation’ etc.). I’m not an accountant, but I don't think omvänd bokning is widely used in Swedish. The usual term, if I'm not mistaken, is återföring. The text is not very clear, but presumably “återbokning” refers to the same thing.

If I’m right about this, “boka upp” refers to the creation of an interim entry and “återbokning/omvänd bokning” to the reversing entry, in other words the cancellation, in the subsequent accounting period, of the interim entry.
