Swedish : Svenska dialektar....?

    Jag nyligen tittat på YouTube, som sagt att det finns cirka 50 olika accenter i Sverige, så undrade jag vilken av dem är mest rekommenderad att lyssna på för alla som vill lära svenska.

    Personligen fann jag Lund, Stockholm och Mariehamn dialekter den lättäst....

    Isn't there a "Standard-Swedish", like Oxford-English or Hannover-German?

    Good question hadn't thought of that. I have the link to the YouTube clip I watched where a guy imitates 50 dialects if anyone's interested....?

    Perhaps this discussion should continue in this thread?

    I just noticed there are currently no moderators in this forum. I don't know who people should contact if they need a permission to post links to videos. Maybe the moderators of the other forums? A moderator, if there were one, would almost certainly accept a link to the "50 dialects" video because it's on the official YouTube channel of the guy who made it, but the rules require a moderator's approval in all cases.

    Det finns färre än 300 000 människor som har finlandssvenska som modersmål (och färre än 5 miljoner människor som har studerat den i skolan). Det skulle vara lite som att lära sig engelska med Corkdialekten. Kanske klokt om man har en anknytning till Cork, men om man inte har det...
