switch it up

Hola,
me gustaría saber cuál es la traducción al español de "switch up", ya que no he podido encontrarlo en ningún diccionario.
En concreto, la frase donde lo vi era ésta:
"When you think you know me right I switch it up."
Entiendo el significado general pero me gustaría saber en concreto que quiere decir o algo sobre su uso.

I have never heard the phrase "switch up" used in English! Maybe it's AE but I'm not sure it is. Can you not phrase it another way?

I switch it up quiere decir que me cambio o cambio mi comportamiento/personalidad/etc. para variar o para que no sepas qué esperar....

Tambien "switch up" puede significar "intercambiar" en otros contextos. A ver la canción de Ciara "Like a Boy" y en eso canción ella se dice "I wish we could switch up the roles' = "Espero que podríamos intercambiar los roles"

Sé que hace 4 años de este thread pero hoy he leído yo esto:
"I liked the XC60. I'm glad they have switched the car up through the movies. Who cares if it's not the exact! I'm glad for it."
Así que siguiendo las pautas de Rrobin37 creo que significa intercambiar.

Para mí, esta oración es ambigua y el inglés no es nada común.
