take advance of it

Hi,

I would like to know the meaning of this phrase: "We need to take advance of it" in spanish. Thanks a lot!

    Whatever it is it doesn't make sense. I doubt if it's Spanglish. It may be just a case of misspeaking oneself... like when people say "You need to be more pacific" (when they mean to say "specific").

    Maybe, I've never heard anyone say that. You can say: We need to take an advance, tenemos que tomar un adelantado (de dinero), is the closest thing that comes to mind.
