Hola
Quiero decir que "it is a strategy that other companies should take advice from"

What would be a good way of translating this into spanish?

Gracias

    Algunas ideas:
"otras empresas deberían aprender de/tomar nota de/aplicar/abordar/utilizar/adoptar esta estrategia"
    Saludos!

    Hola. Otras posibilidades:

    - Es una estrategia de la que otras compañías deberían tomar nota.
    - Es una estrategia de la que otras compañías deberían tomar ejemplo.
    - Es una estrategia que otras compañías deberían tomar de ejemplo.

These are good, too: ... should take note of/apply/utilize/employ/adopt :)

As I indicated above, "to take advice from" does not work well here, IMHO.
Thank you for your efforts, David, but if I'm not mistaken I think you've got it wrong... The question is how to translate the English text to Spanish, not the other way around.;)

Yes, I understand -my point is that I find the English source text to be poorly worded. One takes advice from people, not things or ideas. Things/Ideas (eg., a strategy) are adopted, taken note off, utilized, etc. The examples that I have provide, based upon the Spanish translations offered, are ways of better expressing our idea.

Pues bien, es un ejemplo a emular / an example worth emulating. :)
