hello,
how are you ?

Students are supposed to write two requests they have for their principal.
The first request is "please, take us on a trip every three months" or "please, let us go on a trip every three months."
which is better to say ? I think "please, take us on a trip every three months" is better.

The second request is " please let us wear colored clothing at school"
do you this sentence is correct?

thank you for your help :)

Please take us on a trip every three months. Here you are asking the principal to personally accompany you on a trip, and to take charge of it.

Please let us go on a trip every three months. Here you are simply asking the principal's permission to go on a trip. There's no mention of who, if anybody, would go with you, or be in charge.

Note I've deleted the unnecessary comma in both sentences.

Please let us wear coloured clothing at school. This is grammatically correct. But isn't all clothing coloured?
