Can you say 'take quicker notice of' something? Does it sound native? Google doesn't give a lot of examples.
The context is as follows.
Turn on the sound to take quicker notice of alerts on you computer.

    I have no problem with "take quicker notice", but the sentence might be easier to understand if you give the computer a more active role: Turn on the sound so that the computer can alert you immediately if there is a problem.
