Honey, I am busy with cooking. Could you "take the call" or "answer the call" for me?

If a wife is cooking at kitchen and a phone rings, she asks her husband to answer the phone for her. Are they both correct and the same? Which is better in this situation? Thank you.

'Answer the call' sounds a bit odd. Either 'Take the call', or 'Answer the phone' would be more natural. Or even more natural perhaps, would be 'Can you get that'.
