I was reading an English magazine and here's my question:

Fulton Market Kitchen is a creative hub for all things culinary and artistic, taking a page out of the playbook of New York City's art scene in the 1980s and the Wynwood district in Miami.

What does "take a page out of" mean here? Does it mean "copy something from"?

Thanks a lot
