talent vs talented individuals

    Dear Veterans,

    Regarding the above phrase I composed, I was wondering if the use of the word "talent" is proper and not awkward, with the intended meaning of "talented individuals".

    Or would there be other more commonly used words, referring to individuals with talent in the corporate setting, that could be used in such instance?
