TASI - Tassa sui Servizi Indivisibili

This is a relatively new tax. Any ideas on how the best way to translate it into English.

Thanks all! Archie ;-) x

(For moderators out there: context: balance sheet; my attempt: Tax on Inseparable Services)

  • Given that this is a relatively new Italian tax (2014?), I would suggest a literal translation: "Indivisible Services Tax". A search shows only a few examples of this English translation, but that is perhaps to be expected.

I agree, thank you very much! I'll go for that.

I agree, JG. It's very recent (and too b***dy expensive:mad:), so a literal translation is the best, given that we have no real equivalent. Of course, Archie, you could always explain that it's a tax levied by the local Council to pay for things like local road maintenance and street lighting.
