Hello everyone! Can I use " take" in this sentence: "tell me how to take this new order of things" or this word doesn't work with "new order of things"? Thank you very much

  • Please explain the context and what you want your sentence to mean

Hello. It's like an appeal to God. This is the context.
I keep praying, 'My Lord, My Lord, please help me get Your great capacity for love. Tell me how to take this new order of things. Teach me resignation in trials I meet.'
    Thank you

Tell me how to take this new order of things.
The meaning of "take" is not clear in this sentence. It would be better to use some other word. What do you want to do with "this new order of things"?

take - WordReference.com Dictionary of English

The word "take" has many meanings, so English speakers depend on context to know what it means.
This context does not imply (to me) a specific meaning of "take".

Hello! In this context I mean "accept " when I use "take". This is the full text:
They burn and destroy the world they were given.
They can't satisfy their greed for money that you hate.
    But your patience is great.

They come up with ways to excuse vicious deeds.
They really think they can buy your forgiveness.
No, I'm not a judge. Just here in the church I keep praying, 'My Lord, My Lord, please help me get Your great capacity for love. Tell me how to take this new order of things. Teach me resignation in trials I meet.'
Is it logical to change "take this new order of things " to "deal with this order of things" like Glasguensis offered. I liked it.
    Thank you very much
