Telling time: 8:30 in different languages

Slovenian:

8:00 osem (eight)

8:15 petnajst čez osem (fifteen after eight), četrt čez osem (quarter past eight), četrt na devet (quarters on nine)

8:20 dvajset čez osem (twenty past eight), deset to pol devetih (ten to half nine)

8:25 pet do pol devetih (five to half nine)

8:30 pol devetih (half nine)

8:35 pet čez pol devetih (five past half nine)

8:40 dvajset do devetih (twenty to nine)

8:45 petnajst do devetih (fifteen to nine), tri četrt na devet (three quarters on nine)

    The most twisted though are:
    8:25 - fünf vor halb neun (lit. five to half nine)
    8:35 - fünf nach halb neun (lit. five past half nine)
    Is it correct? :p
     
    As far as I understand, in German one could twist it any way one likes, just it would sound as a not really appropriate joke at times. Drei nach zehn vor halb neun…
    It's just a guess, though (?).

    Of course you CAN do that but it's like saying "forty past nine" in English. So it's not really used apart from trying to be funny.
