Salut. I'm confused about the meaning of this imperative:
"Tenez bon, j'arrive!"

Is it:
"Hold on, I'm coming!" or "Just hold on tight, I'm on my way!" meaning that the speaker is coming to help you because you're having an emergency?

OR

Is it:
"Wait up, I'm coming!" As in the speaker wants you to wait for them?

So it applies more to a situation of urgency than a situation where the speaker wants somebody to 'wait up' for them?
