Could you tell me if these expressions are right? Are there any differences in usage between them?

Thank you very much. = Thank you so much.
I am so sorry. = Sorry so much.

    I am so sorry. = Sorry so much. Incorrect: Sorry so much sounds very odd.

    I agree with NL.
    Since in your first example, you go from "very much" to "so much,"
    I would propose the following:

    Thank you very much. = Thank you so much.
    I am very sorry. = I am so sorry.

    (We also say, "I am so very sorry.")
