Hola amigos! I'm really going crazy trying to conjugate these phrases correctly because I'm not sure if I am translating them the way I want to say them! I'm talking about a girl and am trying to say that "She was the best swimmer that I had ever met and that I would ever (come to) meet in my whole life."

I think it could be translated as:
"Ella fue (era?) la mejor nadadora que yo haya conocido (había conocido?) y que yo habría (hubiera?) conocido en mi vida entera."

Any help with what is the grammatically correct way to say this, or some variations on how I could say this, would be much appreciated. Muchísimas gracias!!

(Ella) era la mejor nadadora que he conocido o que pueda esperar conocer en mi vida.

O también: "Era la mejor nadadora que había/hubiera conocido y que pudiera/podría conocer en toda mi vida".
