That you take out of your arm

I'm not sure what they want to say here with "take out of your arm", the vials aren't connected to our arms during a blood check, I mean not directly:) I'm now confused as for what they mean with taking the vials out from the arm?

...So this is what we call the "Nano tainer" which is a very small tube that's designed to replace the big vials that you take out of your arm when you draw blood traditionally with a tiny drop that can come from a finger.
