the bullying exercise of right

Hello to all:

Can you give me advice? Have you ever come across the exercise of right being connected with bullying or pestering? The thing is that I want to say that somebody exercises the right in conflict with good morals and in Slovak this act is verbatim translated as "the bullying exercise of right". Don't you have any idea how I can translate that expression into English?

Thank you.

Do you mean "exercising a right to do something"? It sounds like what you're saying might be the equivalent of the English "abuse of authority", but it's very difficult to tell without more context.

    Hope that helps,
    I.

    Hello,

I just consulted it with an American native speaker and he told me it might be something like the "immoral exercise of right"
