Hello again,

I'd like to ask you about a sentence written by a Polish student.

'The competition was based on interesting books. Each of the participants had to send a short video with their opinion about one of these books.'

I don't think the first sentence sounds correct. I suppose it would be better if the person wrote:

The competition was about preparing a short video presenting a participant's opinion about one of some interesting books.

I wonder if the version my student wrote could be accepted.
