when i watching an old animation called "Extreme Ghostbusters", I confronted with a problem. here it is:
one character says: hey, don’t swear it. I read Thomas Edison failed science.
one replys: yeah? So…you saying I’m your Thomas Edison?
he answered : no, one of his inventions, the deem light bulb. haha...

What is "the deem light bulb" means here? It sounds like that.....I don't have the subtitles. Thanks in advance

It's "don't sweat it" and "dim light bulb." Dim is the opposite of bright, bright is intelligent, so dim is the opposite of intelligent. "Light bulb" is added to make it funny, and the writer uses "dim light bulb" in the character's joke.
