I don't know if I'm getting that wrongly

Adolf, the father of the bard, was another matter entirely

does "the father of the bard" mean something special?

My translation

El padre del trovador, Adolf, era harina de otro costal

En absoluto es una biografía de un economista pero no está hablando de la boda.

Adolf, the father of the bard, was another matter entirely. Drucker recalls an almost saintly figure, a “great man” of such boundless integrity that he had a tendency to turn friends into “worshipers.” Indeed, young Peter held his father in such high esteem that he felt almost destined to disappoint him. We were “so different, we found it almost impossible to understand each other,” he recalls. “Our relations were not bad, but until I turned thirty they were not good.”
