Here I am again.

In this dialogue, two men are talking about a bank withdrawal.

(Man 1) - And your money?
(Man 2) - I was able to get some of it. The rest was frozen. It‘s criminal!
(Man 1) - The hair you shed is worth more than the rest of us have altogether.

Because Man 2 is very, very rich, I get the impression that Man 1 is saying: even if you succeeded in withdrawing only a part of your immense wealth, it must still be more that everything that we possess in life. The hair you shed = the money you squander, maybe?
I didn't find any idiom involving hair shedding and money, so I really don't know. Any ideas would be more than welcome.
