Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, told Jesus that there was a boy in the crowd who had brought a lunch. The lad, or someone who cared for him, had planned ahead and he had five barley loaves of bread and two small fish. Even though he had brought the lunch for himself, he was willing to let Jesus use it.I read this story in

This is a kind of Bible story.
I cannot understand what kind of plan he had?
Thanks in advance!

"To plan ahead" means "to consider the future and make a relevant plan in advance."

Here, the idea is that at lunchtime you might get hungry. If you "plan ahead" when you're leaving the house in the morning, then you will bring a lunch with you to take care of that problem when it arises in a few hours.
