hello

If I have a list of 4 items (A, B, C, D)
and I want C and D
Should I say the last two or the latter two? or Both are correct?

thanks

"The last two" is correct in this context. You could probably use "latter two" if someone asked you "Do you want A and B, or C and D?"

"The latter two" is equally correct in this context. It does not require "Do you want A and B, or C and D?", but I agree that most people wouldsay "the last two".
