The Mexican place was our final decision/choice.

After a busy morning, which was occupied by three international videoconference meetings, my coworkers and I discussed whether we should have our lunch at the Indian restaurant, the Italian pasta bar, or the new Mexican place. The Mexican place was our final decision/choice.

Would you use decision or choice in the above context? Thanks.

I don't know, QD, "final decision" sounds a bit harsh, like you were deciding someone's fate, not a simple location for a meal...
