Hello,

I am trying to find a good translation for this expression.
I means gay, of course, but even though I know there is one, I can't seem to find the proper way of putting it in French.

    Sure, but like I said, it's really about being gay...
    The sentence is "He may have been, as they say, the other way inclined, but he was completely up my street."

    "de la jaquette" peut-être? Mais ça ne reprend pas du tout l'idée de "inclined"... "Il n'est pas attiré par les filles"... Je sens pourtant qu'il y a une expression, je continue de chercher!

    Can one use something like pencher de l'autre côté ? I found a very few instances, but that's not very convincing...

    I'm not certain Kelly, maybe something more along the lines of "avoir d'autres penchants" might be closer?
