Hallo everybody!

How would it be better ( a phrase from a contract):

The payment amounted to 30% of the Equipment cost which comprises EUR XXX shall be made....

OR

The payment of 30% of the Equipment cost which amounts to EURO XXX shall be made...

Thanks in advance!

    Hello Moroz

"Amounted" doesn't work here, I'm afraid, through "amounting" would be possible:
... payment amounting to 30% of the Equipment cost...

    Make it simple:

...The payment, in the amount of xxx€, representing 30% of the equipment cost, shall be made...
