Could you please rephrase the underlined sentence?

Here's the context. A guy has a brain tumor so he asks his physician if he can fly.

'Will it make the tumor worse? I asked. “There is no evidence,” she said, “that air travel will predispose such tumors to grow or bleed. The risk is one of medical isolation. I’d be inclined to stay on the ground.”'

    Apparently the risk is that his tumour might bleed. The risk of this happening is no greater in the air.
    The problem is that on board the plane there are no medical facilities to deal with a bleeding tumour.
