The seat was (being) levelled at the time of welding.


Does the sentence above mean the same as one below?:
The seat was (being) leveled and welded on at the same time.

    I get the same idea from both sentences, Baltic Sea. The seat was leveled at the time of welding. = The seat was leveled and welded at the same time.
